C.R. Bard Bracytherapy Educational Conference in Amsterdam
C.R. Bard is a leading multinational developer, manufacturer and marketer of innovative, life-enhancing medical technologies. As part of their educational conferences project they held an event on 10th February 2011 in Amsterdam to address the techniques available to treat prostate cancer.
Head of Events at C.R. Bard, Chris Cutbush described their requirement to get some feedback from the audience in order to advise him when planning future events. It was also important for him that the audience was engaged in the conference and able to offer opinions on the use of available technologies and treatments for prostate cancer.
C.R. Bard hired 250 Q2 Qwizdom handsets for their Amsterdam event and provided everyone at the conference with a handset. The audience provided feedback to the questions posed via the PowerPoint presentations that ran throughout the day. Questions were posed at the start of the day and feedback was revealed to the audience in real time. As the day progressed and more information was made available to the delegates, they reposed the same questions and compared the results. The results were a great catalyst to debate at the end of the day.
The interactive element meant that the attendees were engaged and able to provide some very useful feedback to the event organisers. C.R. Bard hired a Qwizdom facilitator who was there to ensure the interactive element of the conference ran smoothly and ensured the interactive PowerPoint slides were set up prior to the event. Reports detailing audience feedback were provided to C.R. Bard for post-event analysis.
What They Say
We had some really great feedback on our recent teaching course in Amsterdam, with one of the highest scoring components being the Qwizdom system. From the technology itself, the way that it integrated smoothly into the main presentation process, to Eddie Morgan’s great customer service and system presentation, it was a pleasure to use. I would most definitely recommend this product to anyone. If you want to get your message across, or you want to know what your audience are thinking so that you can better shape your message in the future, then Qwizdom is simply the very best way of doing it.Chris Cutbush, Head of Events at C.R.
